It stopped working for me too (WinXP). I ended up "solving" this very inelegantly with batch files: Imagine you have two different libraries, Alpha.itl, and Beta.itl, and that itunes defaults to loading "Library.itl". 1) Copy Alpha.itl to Library.itl. Force overwrite so no user input is required (/Y for dos copy command) 2) Run itunes 3) Force-copy Library.itl back over Alpha.itl once itunes is closed, to preserve any changes you made to that library. Make a similar batch file for running it with Beta.itl. Like I said, inelegant, and I wish they'd make library switching something you could do in-program.

Nice tidbit. You can also select a different library on The Hit List the same way—perfect for Dropbox syncing!
