I also like your tips, Ant, but what led me to this page in the first place is that when I open a new tab in Safari and start to type a keyword - an old habit from firefox - I always end up with a messy address-attempt page instead. I find this a bit irritating so I wanted to ask if there is a way to make the cursor appear in the search bar instead of the address bar on opening a new tab. I am using version 5.1.

The Mac and all Apple products (including Safari) have so much depth, you article is a great treatise on some of the lesser know, but extremely powerful features in Safari. Keep up the good work!
